The original Olympus Pen was introduced in 1959, and was the first half-frame camera made in Japan. It was also one of the smallest cameras using 35mm film. The D came 3 years later with the addition of a manual light meter and a 32mm f/1.9 lens.

This particular model comes with a beautiful palisander veneer inlay.
